The original research and comments published here is a simple observation of the city from Huayna Picchu, while I was visiting the Machu Picchu for the first time in my life. For the history of my journey, I invite you to visit the travel book section of this site.

My discovery at Machu Picchu was more like a comment, and many use the term "interpretation". Indeed, it may be argued the lack of evidence, not having any document from the builders of the city. However, I established a rule of observing architecture and planning Inca seems to work on many towns and Inca sites. How many examples would validate my interpretation and to make a statement?

On Machu Picchu, I let you be aware of current theories before reading the explanation of my discovery about the shape of the city, illustrated by pictures. So probably a bit of early archaeological point of view, I identify with the city Tampu Tocco. And it would explain a lot about the city. To benefit the hypothesis indicating that Machu Picchu as a residence not built the Inca Pachacutec.

Part I : Machu Picchu, a city whose identity remains unknown.

Part II : Discovery of an architectural form

Part III: Machu Picchu and Tampu-tocco: a single city
